I want to buy a chicken or two so that I can have organic eggs for breakfast. And a cow for fresh milk. And a herb garden.

hello…a question regarding beliefs, i ‘ve heard that atheists dont believe in absolutes and that everything is open for criticism regarding the validity of it’s findings…

  • rodrigochanta says:

Dawkins encourages us to think rationally about the life procesess, and encourages us to tell others about it.

  • alx90x says:

lmao at how he says “compost”

  • Teknofoyle says:

Atheism will become irrelevant the same way no one needs to identify them self as a non alchemist.

  • lb10128 says:

alchemy doesnt effect your world view, or they way you live your life, or the perception of the truth the way any religion does

  • Raeloth says:

You missed the point the great arch of history bends toward secularization in a few hundred years religion will be as legitimate as astrology then when the vast majority of the first world is atheist/secular the word atheist will be useless and religious people will need to label them self arationalists.

  • lb10128 says:

Belief in alchemy IS a view about the world — it’s a perception of what the truth IS. A person might believe that he or she could economically transmute a common element into a valuable one. Or one might think that with enough knowledge and effort (and grant money), one could achieve immortality. In many religions, there is offered THAT EXACT SAME HOPE. Both can affect what one spends time and money on.If I’ve jumped in on a dialog, sorry, I’m just going by this comment.
