I have a rose bush that’s about 10 years old… for the first couple of years the bush did really well… but after that moles had dug around the roots and REALLY stunted the bush. I lost most of the bush because of that and it was very slow at recovering. This year it looks like it’ll be growing out again. There is no old woody growth, it’s all new stuff… I was wondering, should I trim the new growth back before the summer to make it bushier, and should I let it bloom this year?
