This is such a good video that I’ve sent the link to my friend’s gardening blog. I love the simplicity and cheapness – the tip about mowing the contents to chop them is just brilliant! We retire to a new town next year and this has gone into my gardening ‘hopper’ of ideas. LOVE IT – music’s good too. Thanks

And I understand your concern. My pigs don’t eat commercial foods, but fruits, vegetables and grass. No antibiotics, meats or dairy there. I didn’t start composting by myself. My first call was to Agriculture extension office and they sent an Agronomist to supervise my work. OK to use “Organic” pig manure for as long as the compost bin is not located near a water stream. Same rule applies to cow and horse manure.”Organic” Pig manure is extremely rich in nitrogen.
