4 Stars Composting made a little easier
We recently purchased our second one so that we can run the first thru the dishwasher and still have one to use. Durable and fits in the dishwasher. Can't see much wrong with this product except the high price! But I think you get what you pay for so I think it is worth it.

I am very happy with this. The "no smell" feature works GREAT as I discovered when my husband let it sit so long we have fermenting going on inside. Cleans up great in the diswasher and is a good size. We are vegan so we have plenty of orgnaic matter to put in there.

This is a high quality, heavy duty compost pail. It can be taken to the compost bin and be banged on its side to empty it without being damaged. It is a large size and can hold a lot of scraps before needing to be emptied. The charcoal filter in the lid controls odors and it comes with a spare filter.

Good looking compost pail that does an excellent job of containing odors. Easy to access lid. The only thing it needs is an easy to empty plastic container inside so the stainless steel exterior doesn't get banged up. I found a large plastic candy container fit it perfectly. Expensive but looks good and very durable. Replacement carbon filters are included.

5 Stars Very satisfied, however............
Pro: I am very pleased with the compost keeper. I have it in my sink and is very nice looking and unobtrusive. There is no noticeable odor emitting from it.

Con: When I opened the box it came in there was not even a sheet of paper explaining about the filter top. At first I tried to open the top, then realized that wouldn't happen.

Had to spend my time several days to try and find out about filter replacement. Called Amazon and then emailed them. Finally received the phone number of the manufacturer and ultimately talked with a live person. It turns out you just remove the filter by pulling it out of opening and replacing it with a new one. All it would take is a simple piece of paper explaining this.

1 Star Buyer beware---no filter included.
The box and description said two filters included. I bought this item because of the great reviews, and the box says "two filters included", but mine did not come with any. VERY dissappointed.

5 Stars No Scent Worth Every Cent
Thought this seemed a little expensive for a bucket, but now don't know what I did without it! Easy to clean and amazing how it keeps scraps completely free of odor. I no longer feel guilty when I throw out the occasional bruised avocado as it gets turned into compost for my organic garden. Clean and attractive solution to a previously disgusting chore.

5 Stars Really is odor free
This little bucket is very sturdy, odor free and if you can find corn based bio-bags to use as a liner, the walk out to the compost pile is that much easier. Our rural set up means we have well water and on-site septic; no in-sink garbage disposal. With a place to put food scraps so close at hand, it makes me wonder why I waited so long.

We purchased this to replace a counter-top compost bin that did not have a filter. It holds about a week's worth of material (there's two adults in the house)and even when it is full there's no detectable odor when the bin is closed. We don't have any complaints with the item. Worth the investment and looks good on the counter.

5 Stars Filters Out Odors from Our Countertop Compost Keeper
Having had our new compost keeper nearly a month, my husband is a bit over-zealous about getting to dump our accumulated compost in the countertop keeper into our outdoor composter.
