What Is A Good Compost Method/bin For A Tiny Deck, No Yard, And Very Little Sun?

We'd like to try out composting to reduce our waste, but we have a small deck that gets very little sun. No yard, but I won't have a problem getting rid of the compost. Any compost experts out there have any advice or recommendations? We'd like to keep it inexpensive, if possible.

Try vermicomposting. There are all kinds of how-to instructions on the web about how to do it. You tube is a good place to start. We just started our bin this week, my son is doing it for a boy scout merit badge. All you need is a container, bedding (shredded newspaper and cardboard), food scraps and “red wigglers”. You can buy those at the bait and tackle shops or do some more research to find someone who will donate the worms. Good luck!
