Tumbled Glass Mulch
To maintain a beautiful and healthy landscape, tumbled glass mulch offers a unique alternative to traditional mulches. Made primarily from recycled glass shards, the mulch gives your lawn or garden a larger variety of colors and textures than you’d find with bark or gravel mulches. One drawback to using tumbled glass as an addition to your landscaping is the higher cost associated with this type of mulch.
However, if you’re looking for an alternative to standard mulches, tumbled glass mulch can turn your garden into a beautiful work of art.
Creating a lawn or garden is a creative pursuit in and of itself. Adding recycled bits of glass as a mulch for your succulents, shrubs or flowers is a unique way of upping the aesthetic value of your landscaping.
Gardeners cannot get away without adding some sort of protective mulch around their precious plants, as it helps regulate soil temperature, allows plants to retain more moisture and helps keep weeds at bay.
Tumbled Glass MulchSome people may be concerned about using glass in their flowerbeds, but rest assured the glass isn’t sharp enough to cut you.
Ideally, this mulch works best for plants that thrive in dry or rocky soil, but for added color gardeners can sprinkle it in their flowerbeds. It can also be useful for keeping dust at bay if you live on a road where this could be a problem.
No matter what type of landscaping design you have, you need to use some type of mulch to protect your investment.
Many people want to take a creative spin on traditional mulches, and this is a great way to do so while still protecting your plants from the elements. Tumbled glass mulch is an excellent addition to any flowerbed or garden, and is visually appealing as well as practical.
